Infant milk constipation

Our nieces’ newborn suffered from infant milk constipation. It took them a long horrendous time to find that out but 8 months later, their son looks great and is in perfect health.
In the beginning, their parents where kind of happy that they didn’t need to change their newborn’s diapers as often as with other babies.
But after some time it became obvious something was wrong: the first stool was very hard and after that within the next few hours a few new diapers had to be changed because of loose stools.
It took them a lot of trial and error finding natural constipation remedies, seeing different doctors who subscribed different constipation medicines… Until they met a lactose intolerant parent suggesting a lactose-free diet.
From that moment on the babies’ smile returned on his face big time
Just imagine: from all the toddler allergies out there, the one you least expect would be a diary intolerance. That’s why it took them so long to find the cause of their babies’ constipation.
So be informed: if you don’t know why your baby is constipated, remember that constipation can be a symptom your baby is intolerant to milk.
